Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) -  ✭ ✭

This horror movie sequel brings Angela Baker (Pamela Springsteen) back to camp with murderous intent and a distaste for any campers with a bad attitude. Unhappy Campers is purposely outrageous with grungy humor and nonsensical deaths. Not as good as the first, but entertaining enough for a little laugh. A different cast and annoying main character.

Classic Slasher Themes
Annoying Actresses

Silly Murders
No Shock
Obligatory Tit Shots

Spoileriffic!~ The following editorial is lightly scattered with spoilers!

Angela Baker returns to camp to clean up the world from the bullies and sassy kids like these. While undercover as a camp counselor for Camp Rolling Hills, a camp nearby the previous movie's setting. This takes place a few years after the events of Sleepaway Camp and rumors of Angela Baker are told around the campfire.

Angela Baker returns to clean up camp as
Bruce Springsteen's sister,
Pamela Springsteen

Angela is willing to get pretty gruesome in this movie, and the effects are a little silly.

"I'm a happy camper, I love to drink and fuck.
If you pay me money, on my titties you can suck!
"
-Drunk Bitch #1
She creeps on them, kidnaps them, and burns them alive.

"Say 'no' to drugs."
-Angela Baker

Angela Baker is the perfect camp counselor! The award for longest death scene goes to this Freddy Krueger impersonator, killed by, you guessed it, Freddy Krueger's knife fingers.

This is preceded by a short Jason Vs. Michael Meyers parody
"Sorry, once I start a task I always finish."
-Angela Baker

Camp Rolling Hills has leeches in the outhouse.
This girl dies from shit and leeches.
After a string of murders, suspicion acts up and Angela is finally rightfully accused... So she decides to take out all of the loose ends!

This movie does not feature the same kind of cinematic brilliance of the first; no twist ending! The scenes between the murders and stupid jokes are boring.
